I'm a Northern Virginia native and have lived here all my lfe with the exception of my time in the US Army.

I'm currently living in the Yuppie Mecca of Ashburn with my wife, Lucia and 4 incredible kids.

As a boy, my neighbor gave me an old "brownie" camera, a roll of film and some brief instructions and set me loose on a hot summer day.

In High School I learned film development and darkroom techniques and became a High School paper photographer.

I've never stopped taking pictures since then...

I take pictures because I love to capture images that are more than just pictures. I live for the pictures that make you stop and look, draw you in, maybe remember or recall something similar but most importantly, bring a smile.

Lucia Jenkins is the true brains of the LJ Photography business. She has an undergrad in Sociology. a Masters in Computer Information Systems & is Currently Pursuing her Doctorate.

She is an IT Manager for a "cloud computing" firm in Herndon, VA. Not only is she imminently qualified to run a larger than average family. Her vast capabilities are incredibly well suited for business & seem superhuman at times.

She is an Accountant, Manager, Chief Operations Officer, Scheduler, Coordinator & respected member of the community.

She is the glue that holds us all together.
